Caramel Apple Milkshake

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • 300 g vanilla ice cream slightly softened
  • 180 ml apple cider chilled
  • 120 ml whole milk cold
  • 45 ml caramel sauce plus extra for optional drizzle
  • 1 g ground cinnamon
  • 1 g fine salt
  • 120 g ice optional, for a thicker shake
  • 60 g whipped cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Add the vanilla ice cream, chilled apple cider, cold milk, caramel sauce, cinnamon, and salt to the blender. If you want a thicker shake, add the ice now. All ingredients are in the blender and the lid is secured.
  2. Blend on high until smooth and thick, about 20 to 30 seconds. Stop once the mixture is fully homogenized and still pourable; do not overblend or it will thin out. The shake looks smooth, cold, and thick with no visible ice chunks.
  3. Divide the milkshake between 2 tall glasses. Top each with whipped cream, then drizzle with a little extra caramel sauce if desired. Each glass is filled and topped, with the drink holding its shape briefly on the spoon.
  4. Serve immediately with a long spoon or wide straw. The milkshake is ready to drink and scoop.
