  • 2 pieces shallots
  • 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth

  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 pieces garlic cloves
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary
  • 1 handful Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients: trim and thinly slice the Brussels sprouts, mince the shallots, remove the casings from the Italian turkey sausage, and grate the Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese.
  2. In a pan, heat the DeLallo Private Reserve Extra-Virgin Olive Oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the DeLallo shelf-stable Potato Gnocchi to the pan and sear until crispy.
  4. Add the Italian turkey sausage to the pan and cook until browned.
  5. Add the Brussels sprouts and shallots to the pan and cook until caramelized.

  7. Pour the maple-cider sauce over the gnocchi, sausage, and Brussels sprouts in the pan and stir to combine.
  8. Continue to cook the mixture in the pan until the sauce has thickened.
  9. Serve the dish hot, topped with the freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese.
