Crispy Gnocchi With Sausage And Brussels

Ingredients
- 1 bunch Brussels sprouts
- 2 pieces shallots
- 1 package Italian turkey sausage
- 1 piece Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
- 2 tablespoons DeLallo Private Reserve Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 package DeLallo shelf-stable Potato Gnocchi
- 1 package Italian turkey sausage
- 1 bunch Brussels sprouts
- 2 pieces shallots
- 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 pieces garlic cloves
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
- 1 handful Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients: trim and thinly slice the Brussels sprouts, mince the shallots, remove the casings from the Italian turkey sausage, and grate the Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese.
- In a pan, heat the DeLallo Private Reserve Extra-Virgin Olive Oil over medium heat.
- Add the DeLallo shelf-stable Potato Gnocchi to the pan and sear until crispy.
- Add the Italian turkey sausage to the pan and cook until browned.
- Add the Brussels sprouts and shallots to the pan and cook until caramelized.
- In a separate bowl, combine the chicken or vegetable broth, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, garlic cloves, and fresh rosemary to create the maple-cider sauce.
- Pour the maple-cider sauce over the gnocchi, sausage, and Brussels sprouts in the pan and stir to combine.
- Continue to cook the mixture in the pan until the sauce has thickened.
- Serve the dish hot, topped with the freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese.
