Cranberry Citrus Fizz

A chilled nonalcoholic spritz made by combining cranberry juice, orange juice, and simple syrup, then topping with club soda just before serving. The drink stays crisp because the soda is added at the end and it is served over ice with fresh cranberries and orange slices.

Cranberry Citrus Fizz

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 480 ml cranberry juice chilled
  • 240 ml orange juice fresh or store-bought, chilled
  • 30 ml simple syrup plain
  • 480 ml club soda chilled
  • 480 g ice for serving
  • 40 g fresh cranberries rinsed
  • 4 slice orange slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. If desired, chill the serving glasses in the refrigerator or fill them briefly with ice and discard before mixing. In a pitcher, combine the cranberry juice, orange juice, and simple syrup. The base is uniform and the syrup is fully dispersed.
  2. Stir in the club soda gently to preserve the bubbles. Add the ice to the glasses, then divide the drink evenly among 4 glasses. The drink is fizzy and evenly portioned.
  3. Top each glass with fresh cranberries and an orange slice. Serve immediately while cold and bubbly. Cranberries float or rest on top and the garnish is visible.
