Vanilla Almond Milkshake

This American-style milkshake blends vanilla ice cream with almond milk and a small amount of almond extract for a nutty accent. It is finished with whipped cream and sliced almonds for texture. The drink is served immediately after blending while cold and thick.

Vanilla Almond Milkshake

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • 300 g vanilla ice cream slightly softened
  • 180 ml unsweetened almond milk chilled
  • 2 ml almond extract
  • 1 g fine salt
  • 60 g whipped cream for topping
  • 12 g sliced almonds toasted, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add the vanilla ice cream, almond milk, almond extract, and fine salt to the blender. Blend on high until smooth and thick, about 20 to 30 seconds. The mixture looks evenly blended with no visible ice cream chunks.
  2. If the shake is too thick to pour, add up to 30 ml more almond milk and blend briefly again. Do not add the extra milk unless needed. The shake pours slowly from the blender and holds a creamy, spoonable texture.
  3. Divide the milkshake between 2 tall glasses. Top with whipped cream and sliced almonds, if using. Each glass is filled and topped immediately before serving.
