Cranberry-Apple Mocktail

This non-alcoholic Thanksgiving drink is mixed cold in a pitcher, then finished with sparkling water just before serving so it stays lively. Apple slices add a fresh aromatic note and a clear seasonal look.

Cranberry-Apple Mocktail

Servings: 8

Ingredients

  • 750 ml cranberry juice chilled
  • 750 ml apple cider chilled
  • 30 ml lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 15 ml maple syrup optional sweetener
  • 500 ml sparkling water chilled
  • 600 g ice for serving
  • 1 medium apple thinly sliced for garnish

Instructions

  1. Chill the cranberry juice, apple cider, and sparkling water. Add the cranberry juice, apple cider, and lemon juice to a large pitcher. If using the optional maple syrup, add it now and stir until the base is uniform. The base looks evenly blended with no streaks of syrup.
  2. Just before serving, pour in the sparkling water and stir once gently to combine without knocking out too much carbonation. The drink is evenly mixed and visibly fizzy.
  3. Divide the ice among 8 glasses, pour the mocktail over it, and garnish each glass with a few thin apple slices. Each glass is cold, fizzy, and finished with apple garnish.
