Cranberry-Apple Cider Punch

This nonalcoholic punch combines cranberry juice, apple cider, and sparkling water for a refreshing Thanksgiving drink. Fresh orange, apple slices, and cranberries add aroma and texture, and a small amount of maple syrup can round out the tartness if needed.

Cranberry-Apple Cider Punch

Servings: 8

Ingredients

  • 1 piece orange thinly sliced
  • 1 piece apple thinly sliced
  • 60 g fresh cranberries rinsed
  • 750 ml cranberry juice chilled
  • 750 ml apple cider chilled
  • 15 ml maple syrup optional, to taste
  • 500 ml sparkling water chilled
  • 600 g ice for serving, optional

Instructions

  1. Chill the cranberry juice, apple cider, sparkling water, and serving bowl if possible. Slice the orange and apple thinly; rinse the cranberries. Fruit is sliced and all liquid ingredients are cold.
  2. Add the cranberry juice and apple cider to the punch bowl. Stir in the maple syrup if using. The base is evenly combined and lightly sweetened if desired.
  3. Add the orange slices, apple slices, and cranberries to the bowl. The fruit is distributed throughout the punch.
  4. Just before serving, pour in the sparkling water and stir once or twice to keep the fizz. Add ice to the bowl or individual glasses if using. The punch looks bright and bubbly and should be served immediately.
