Cranberry-Orange Sparkling Mocktail
This nonalcoholic holiday drink is built by combining cranberry juice, orange juice, simple syrup, and sparkling water over ice. The base is mixed ahead so each glass can be topped with bubbles at serving time, keeping the texture lively. The finish is a cranberry-and-citrus garnish that reads clearly across all 8 servings.

Ingredients
- 720 ml cranberry juice chilled
- 360 ml orange juice chilled
- 60 ml simple syrup ready to use
- 15 ml fresh lemon juice freshly squeezed
- 80 g fresh cranberries rinsed
- 8 each fresh mint leaves for garnish
- 960 ml sparkling water chilled
- 800 g ice for serving
- 2 each orange thinly sliced for garnish
Instructions
- Chill the serving glasses if you have time. In a large pitcher or bowl with at least 3 L capacity, combine the cranberry juice, orange juice, simple syrup, and lemon juice. Stir for 10 to 15 seconds until evenly mixed. The base looks uniform and the syrup is fully dissolved.
- Add the fresh cranberries to the pitcher. If using mint, clap the leaves once between your hands and add them now for a light aroma. The garnishes are distributed through the pitcher.
- Just before serving, add the sparkling water and stir gently once or twice to preserve the bubbles. Fill each glass with about 100 g ice, then pour the mocktail over the ice. The drink is visibly fizzy and the glasses are filled.
- Finish each of the 8 glasses with 1 thin orange slice per glass. Serve immediately. Each drink has a citrus garnish and strong carbonation.
