Maple-Roasted Cinnamon Apples with Vanilla Ice Cream
Warm, sweet, and gooey maple-roasted cinnamon apples served with cold vanilla ice cream and a sprinkle of flake salt. A delightful transition from summer to fall!

Ingredients
- 2 unit honey crisp apples sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 0.33 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
- 0 pure maple syrup optional
- 0 flake salt optional
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice 2 honey crisp apples and add them to a baking dish.
- Toss the sliced apples with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
- Add 1/3 cup of pure maple syrup, 1 tablespoon of corn starch, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon to the apples. Mix well to evenly coat.
- Bake the apples in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, mixing every 15 minutes until the apples are soft and golden brown.
- Remove the baking dish from the oven and immediately top the baked apples with scoops of vanilla ice cream.
- Drizzle additional maple syrup over the top and sprinkle with flake salt, if desired.
