Witch's Potion Mocktail

This Halloween mocktail layers lime, mint, and a little sweetness over ice, then tops everything with sparkling soda for a crisp finish. The gummy worms are optional and keep the presentation in the party-theme lane without changing the drink itself.

Witch's Potion Mocktail

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 30 ml Water for dissolving the syrup if needed
  • 120 ml Lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 45 ml Simple syrup mixed
  • 16 g Fresh mint leaves lightly bruised
  • 480 ml Plain sparkling water chilled
  • 600 g Ice for serving
  • 8 pieces Gummy worms for garnish

Instructions

  1. If your simple syrup is thick or crystallized, stir it with 30 ml water until smooth; otherwise leave it as is. In a pitcher, combine the lime juice, simple syrup, and mint leaves. Lightly muddle the mint just enough to release aroma without shredding it. The pitcher smells minty and citrusy, and the syrup is evenly combined.
  2. Add the sparkling water and stir once or twice gently to keep the soda fizzy. The mixture looks evenly green and still has visible bubbles.
  3. Fill 4 glasses with ice, then divide the mocktail evenly among them. Garnish each glass with 2 gummy worms, if using, and serve right away. The drinks are cold, sparkling, and garnished for serving.
