Cranberry and Pomegranate Sparkler

A Thanksgiving drink assembled in the pitcher and served over ice. The juice blend is balanced with sparkling water so it drinks bright rather than syrupy, and pomegranate seeds add a small burst of texture in the glass.

Cranberry and Pomegranate Sparkler

Servings: 8

Ingredients

  • 720 ml cranberry juice chilled
  • 240 ml pomegranate juice chilled
  • 960 ml sparkling water well chilled
  • 800 g ice for serving
  • 80 g pomegranate seeds fresh
  • 8 pieces orange slices for garnish, optional

Instructions

  1. Add the cranberry juice and pomegranate juice to a large pitcher and stir until combined. The juices look uniform in color.
  2. Just before serving, slowly pour in the sparkling water and stir once or twice to keep the fizz. The drink is bubbly throughout but not foamy.
  3. Fill 8 glasses with ice, then divide the sparkler evenly among them. Each glass is cold and filled with a similar amount of liquid.
  4. Top each glass with pomegranate seeds and, if using, an orange slice. The garnish floats or sits just at the surface.
