Autumn Berry Smoothie

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • 240 g Frozen mixed berries unsweetened
  • 240 g Plain yogurt cold
  • 120 ml Apple juice cold
  • 20 g Rolled oats none
  • 1 g Ground cinnamon ground
  • 1 g Fine salt none
  • 15 ml Honey optional, plus more to taste
  • 60 g Ice cubes optional

Instructions

  1. Add the frozen mixed berries, plain yogurt, apple juice, rolled oats, ground cinnamon, salt, and honey if using to the blender. Add the ice cubes only if you want a thicker, colder drink. Everything is loaded into the blender and the liquid reaches the blade line.
  2. Blend on low for 10 seconds, then increase to high and blend until completely smooth, stopping once to scrape down the sides if needed. If the mixture stalls, add a small splash of the apple juice from the total only if it has not all already been used. The smoothie is uniform, thick, and no berry pieces remain.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness with a little more honey only if needed, then divide between 2 glasses and serve immediately. The smoothies hold a thick, pourable consistency and are served cold.
