Short Rib Pasta
Fall is officially here and there’s nothing like a good cozy recipe that will bring the vibes into the house! This is a more affordable option to a traditional short rib ragu.

Ingredients
- 2 lb chuck roast or short rib
- 1 whole medium onion
- 2 whole large carrots
- 2 whole celery stalks
- 1 whole rosemary sprigs
- 1 to taste salt
- 1 to taste pepper
- 1 whole garlic bulb
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
Instructions
- Cube the 2-3lb chuck roast (or short rib).
- Dice 1 medium onion, 2-3 large carrots, and 2-3 celery stalks.
- Chop 1-2 rosemary sprigs.
- Salt and pepper the beef pieces to taste.
- Combine all the ingredients in a pot, including 1 whole garlic bulb, 1/2-1 cup red wine, 1/2-1 cup beef broth, 1/2-1 cup heavy cream, 1- 1 1/2 cup tomato sauce, 2-3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 2-3 tbsp tomato paste, 1-2 tbsp garlic powder, 1-2 tbsp dried oregano, and the salt and peppered beef.
- Taste the broth prior to adding into oven and adjust seasoning as necessary.
- Cook the mixture in the oven.
