Chocolate Mint Smoothie

An American-style smoothie built from yogurt, milk, banana, cocoa, and fresh mint. The cocoa gives the drink its chocolate note, while mint is blended in briefly so it reads as fresh rather than toothpaste-like. It finishes cold and thick enough to drink through a straw.

Chocolate Mint Smoothie

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • 1 count banana peeled and sliced
  • 240 g plain Greek yogurt none
  • 180 ml milk cold
  • 12 g unsweetened cocoa powder none
  • 8 g fresh mint leaves tough stems removed
  • 21 g honey none
  • 5 ml vanilla extract none
  • 1 g fine salt none
  • 120 g ice cubes optional

Instructions

  1. Add the banana, Greek yogurt, milk, cocoa powder, mint leaves, honey, vanilla extract, and fine salt to the blender. If using the ice, add it now as well. All ingredients are in the blender and the lid is secured.
  2. Blend on high until completely smooth, 30 to 45 seconds. Stop once the mint is fully dispersed and no visible cocoa or yogurt streaks remain. The smoothie is thick, even, and uniformly pale chocolate-brown with green specks only if your blender is very high-speed.
  3. Taste and adjust only if needed: if you want it sweeter, add a little more honey; if you want a thinner drink, blend in a splash more milk. Serve immediately in 2 glasses. The smoothie pours easily and holds a creamy, drinkable texture.
