Steak Au Poivre With Garlic Parmesan Mashed Potatoes
A perfect dinner to impress someone special or to enjoy a nice dinner at home, featuring a seasoned steak, creamy garlic parmesan mashed potatoes, and sautéed green beans.

Ingredients
- 1 piece New York Strip
- 1 to taste White Pepper
- 1 to taste Garlic Salt
- 1 to taste Montreal Steak Seasoning
- 1 as needed Gold Potatoes
- 1 to taste Garlic and Herb Butter
- 1 to taste Heavy whipping cream
- 1 to taste Sour cream
- 1 to taste Garlic Cloves
- 1 to taste Avocado oil
- 1 to taste Salted Butter
- 1 to taste Fresh Rosemary
- 1 to taste Garlic Cloves
- 1 to taste Shallot
- 1 to taste Garlic Cloves
- 0.5 cup Beef Broth
- 0.5 cup Heavy whipping cream
- 1 to taste Parmesan Cheese
- 1 to taste Green Beans
Instructions
- Let your steak come to room temperature and season with white pepper, garlic salt and Montreal steak seasoning.
- Prep your potatoes and boil until tender. Add garlic and herb butter, heavy whipping cream, sour cream, garlic to taste.
- Add your steak to a hot pan with avocado oil and sear both sides for 4 minutes.
- Add your salted butter, rosemary and crushed garlic cloves and baste your steak.
- Set your steak aside for 10 minutes.
- In the same pan, add in your minced shallots, minced garlic and sautee until fragrant, add in 1/4-1/2 cup of beef broth(depending on how much sauce you want) add 1/4-1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream, simmer for 5 minutes on medium low heat. And add Parmesan cheese.
- Serve with sautéed green beans and enjoy.
