Ingredients
- 1 whole green cabbage medium, cut into 8 wedges with some core attached
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 3 whole garlic cloves minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 0.5 tsp onion powder
- 0.5 tsp dried thyme
- 0.75 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 1.5 lbs small red or baby potatoes halved
- 24 oz chicken apple sausages left whole
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 425°F. Oven preheated.
- Cut the cabbage into 8 wedges, keeping a little core attached so the wedges hold together. Cabbage is wedged.
- Whisk together the melted butter, olive oil, Dijon mustard, garlic, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Seasoning mixture is combined.
- Toss the potatoes with some of the seasoning mixture and arrange them on a large sheet pan. Add the cabbage wedges and brush or spoon the remaining mixture over the cabbage. Potatoes and cabbage are on the pan and coated.
- Roast for 15 minutes. Potatoes and cabbage have started roasting.
- Add the sausages to the pan and return to the oven. Roast for 15 to 20 minutes more, turning the sausages and potatoes once if needed, until the potatoes are fork-tender and golden, the cabbage is tender with caramelized edges, and the sausages are heated through and browned. Dinner is cooked through.
