Ginger Lemon Fizz

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • 20 ml honey room temperature
  • 15 ml water room temperature, for loosening the honey
  • 180 g ice for serving
  • 45 ml fresh lemon juice strained if desired
  • 480 ml ginger ale chilled
  • 4 slices lemon thinly sliced for garnish

Instructions

  1. If needed, stir 20 ml honey with 15 ml room-temperature water in a small bowl until smooth and pourable. The honey mixture looks uniform and easy to pour.
  2. Divide 180 g ice between 2 serving glasses. Each glass is about half full with ice.
  3. Add 22.5 ml lemon juice and 10 ml of the honey mixture to each glass. The base ingredients are visible around the ice.
  4. Pour 240 ml ginger ale into each glass and stir once or twice to combine without flattening the drink. The drink looks evenly mixed and still fizzy.
  5. Garnish each glass with 2 lemon slices and serve immediately. The drinks are cold, aromatic, and actively bubbling at the surface.
