Servings: 12

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Rotisserie chicken
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 bag Shredded cabbage and carrots
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 to taste Salt
  • 1 to taste Pepper
  • 1 tsp Chicken bouillon
  • 1 pouch Naturas Ranchera sauce
  • 0.5 cup Water
  • 1 to taste Mayonnaise
  • 1 to taste Mustard

Instructions

  1. Shred the rotisserie chicken and remove bones, skin and ligaments.
  2. In a hot saucepan add 2 tbsp of butter and saute the shredded cabbage and carrots until translucent. Set to the side and let it cool.
  3. In the same pan, add 1 tbsp of butter and saute the chicken. Season with salt, pepper and 1 tsp of chicken bouillon.
  4. Add 1 pouch of Naturas ranchera sauce and 1/2 cup of water to the chicken. Incorporate well, cover the saucepan and let it stew for 10 minutes on low-medium heat. Once it's done, set to the side and let it cool completely.
  5. Once fully cooled, in the same bowl add the chicken, cabbage, mayo and mustard. Mix well and adjust the salt to your preference.
  6. Assemble the sandwiches. This batch was enough for 12-18 sandwiches, depending on how much filling is added to each one.
