Crab Rangoon Sticks
A popular American-Chinese appetizer, consisting of wonton wrappers filled with a rich, creamy mixture of imitation crab and cream cheese, then fried to a perfect golden crisp.

Ingredients
- 6 oz Imitation Crab
- 8 oz Cream Cheese
- 2 stalks Green Onion
- 1 tbsp Melted Butter
- 0.5 tbsp Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 to taste Salt
- 12 oz Wonton Wrappers
- 1 for frying Oil
Instructions
- Cut up imitation crab into 1/2" pieces.
- Add the cut imitation crab to a mixing bowl along with softened cream cheese.
- Add chopped green onions to the mixing bowl.
- Add melted butter to the mixing bowl.
- Add low sodium soy sauce to the mixing bowl.
- Add garlic powder to the mixing bowl.
- Add salt to taste to the mixing bowl and mix all the ingredients together to form the filling.
- Fill the wonton wrappers with the prepared filling.
- Heat your oil up to 350F and fry the filled wontons for 2 minutes, flipping halfway in between or until golden brown.
- Serve the Crab Rangoon with your favorite sauce, such as sweet chili sauce or sweet and sour sauce.
