Spicy Tuna Sourdough Melt
A delicious and protein-rich Spicy Tuna Sourdough Melt made with cottage cheese and greek yogurt instead of mayo. This recipe is a little lighter and adds extra protein.

Ingredients
- 1 tin tuna
- 2 whole spring onions
- 0 chives
- 0 dill
- 1 tbsp capers
- 1 tbsp sweetcorn
- 1 tbsp greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp cottage cheese
- 0.5 tbsp sriracha
- 0 salt
- 0 black pepper
- 2 slices sourdough
- 1 tsp pesto
- 0 olive oil
- 1 tsp chopped garlic
Instructions
- Open the tin of tuna and drain the liquid.
- Chop the spring onions, chives, and dill.
- In a bowl, combine the drained tuna, chopped spring onions, chives, dill, capers, sweetcorn, greek yogurt, cottage cheese, sriracha, salt, and black pepper.
- Spread pesto on the slices of sourdough.
- Top the pesto-spread sourdough slices with the tuna mixture.
- Heat a pan with olive oil and chopped garlic.
- Place the prepared sourdough slices in the pan and cook until the bread is toasted and the tuna mixture is heated through.
