Fried Ravioli With Vodka Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 count eggs
  • 1.5 cups plain panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsps paprika
  • 2 tsps onion powder
  • 2 tsps garlic powder
  • 2.5 tsps salt
  • 2.5 tsps black pepper
  • 18 count beef and cheese ravioli
  • 0 for frying avocado oil
  • 4 Tbs butter
  • 8 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 Tb tomato paste
  • 0.25 cups vodka
  • 0.5 cups heavy cream
  • 2 Tbs parmesan
  • 1 Tb parsley

Instructions

  1. Prepare the breading station with three separate bowls. In the first bowl, place the flour. In the second bowl, beat the eggs. In the third bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Dip each ravioli in the flour, then the beaten eggs, and finally the breadcrumb mixture. Ensure each ravioli is fully coated.
  3. Heat the avocado oil in a frying pan and fry the breaded ravioli until golden brown. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
  4. In a separate pan, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté until fragrant.
  5. Stir in the tomato paste and cook for a minute. Then add the vodka, let it simmer until the alcohol has evaporated.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream, stir well and let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it thickens.
  7. Remove the sauce from the heat and stir in the freshly grated parmesan and chopped parsley.
  8. Serve the fried ravioli with the homemade vodka sauce for dipping.
