Brown Sugar Peach Autumn Marg

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon agave syrup
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar
  • 1.5 oz cinnamon-soaked reposado tequila
  • 0.75 oz Grand Marnier
  • 1 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 2 oz brown sugar peach syrup
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 cup fresh ice
  • 2 pieces peach slices
  • 1 piece cinnamon stick
  • 1 piece cinnamon stick
  • 2 pieces ripe peaches
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare the glass by brushing the rim with agave syrup, then dip into a mix of cinnamon sugar to coat.
  2. Into a shaker, add cinnamon-soaked reposado tequila, Grand Marnier, fresh lime juice, and brown sugar peach syrup.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice, then shake vigorously for 8 seconds.
  4. Strain the shaken mixture into the prepared glass over fresh ice.
  5. Garnish the drink with two peach slices and a cinnamon stick.
  6. Light the tip of the cinnamon stick for extra aromatics before serving.
  7. For the Peach Syrup: Slice two ripe peaches and boil them in one cup of water for 3 minutes.
  8. Add one cup of brown sugar to the peaches, remove from heat, and once cool, blend the mixture until smooth. Strain to remove solids.
