Fall Season Fig Cocktail
Fall is just around the corner and figs are finally in season. This is a cocktail recipe that uses fig jam, fresh lemon juice, honey syrup, and gin. It is garnished with a fig slice and thyme.

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp fig jam
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.5 oz honey syrup
- 2 oz gin
- 1 shaker ice
- 1 slice fig slice
- 1 sprig thyme
- 1 part water
- 1 part honey
Instructions
- Combine 1 tbsp fig jam, 1 oz fresh lemon juice, .5 oz honey syrup, and 2 oz gin in a cocktail shaker.
- Fill the cocktail shaker with ice.
- Shake the cocktail shaker until the mixture is cold.
- Strain the mixture into a coupe glass.
- Garnish the cocktail with a fig slice and thyme.
- To make the honey syrup, add equal parts water and honey to a saucepan and set to low/medium heat.
- Stir the honey and water mixture until the honey dissolves.
- Let the honey syrup cool.
- Store the honey syrup in an airtight container.
