Cinnamon Sugar Hawaiian Roll French Toast Churros

Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 0.75 cup whole milk
- 0.5 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pack Hawaiian rolls
- 2 tablespoon salted butter
- 1 tablespoon salted butter
- 0.25 cup white sugar
- 0.5 teaspoon cinnamon
- 0 maple syrup
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, cinnamon, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Tear the Hawaiian rolls apart into individual pieces.
- Dip each piece of roll into the egg mixture for 15 to 20 seconds, ensuring it is fully coated.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of salted butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Cook the dipped rolls in the pan on all sides until they are golden brown.
- Remove the cooked rolls from the pan and set aside.
- Add the remaining tablespoon of butter to the pan and repeat the cooking process with the rest of the rolls.
- In a shallow bowl, mix together the white sugar and cinnamon.
- Toss the warm cooked rolls in the cinnamon sugar mixture until they are fully coated.
- Serve the churros with warm maple syrup for dipping.
