Ingredients
- 3 sliced honeycrisp apples
- 2 sliced pears
- 2 sliced oranges
- 5 whole cinnamon sticks
- 750 mL red wine
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1 cup cranberry juice
- 0.5 cup apple brandy
- 0 to taste ginger beer
Instructions
- Slice honeycrisp apples and pears into thin slices or use small cookie cutters to cut them into fall shapes.
- Slice oranges into thin rounds.
- Combine apples, pears, oranges, and cinnamon sticks in a large pitcher.
- Pour red wine over the fruit mixture in the pitcher.
- Add apple cider, cranberry juice, and apple brandy to the pitcher and stir gently.
- Refrigerate the sangria for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld.
- Before serving, rim the glasses with cinnamon sugar.
- Pour the sangria into glasses, topping with ginger beer or soda water for a fizzy finish.
