Apple Cider Mimosa

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Apple
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1.5 cups Apple cider
  • 1 bottle Prosecco
  • 4 sprigs Mint sprigs

Instructions

  1. Slice the apple into thin wedges, ensuring they are even for consistent freezing.
  2. In a bowl, combine apple slices with fresh lemon juice to prevent browning and add a subtle tang.
  3. Let the apple slices soak in the lemon juice for an hour to enhance the flavor and maintain their bright color.
  4. Arrange the lemon-soaked apple slices into the compartments of an ice cube tray, packing them snugly but not too tightly.
  5. Pour apple cider into the ice cube tray, filling each compartment completely over the apple slices.
  6. Freeze the apple cider ice cubes until solid, approximately 1-2 hours depending on your freezer.
  7. Remove the apple cider ice cubes and place one or two into each glass.
  8. Top the apple cider ice cubes with prosecco and garnish each glass with a fresh mint sprig for an aromatic finish.
