Jalapeño Popper Toasted Pinwheel Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 3 jalapeños diced
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and chopped
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheese cheddar or pepper jack
  • 0 seasonings salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large tortillas burrito-sized
  • 2 tbsp butter for toasting

Instructions

  1. Combine cream cheese, diced jalapeños, bacon bits, shredded cheese, and seasonings in a bowl. Mix until well combined.
  2. Lay out a large tortilla and spread the jalapeño mixture in an even layer, reaching all edges.
  3. Roll each tortilla tightly into a log. Slice into approximately 2-inch wide pinwheel pieces.
  4. In a skillet over low heat, toast the pinwheels until golden brown on all sides, flipping with tongs as needed.
