Dirty Martini Garlic Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 bulbs garlic bulbs
  • 0 olive oil
  • 0 salt
  • 0 pepper
  • 0 foil
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive brine
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil
  • 0 red pepper flakes
  • 0 salt
  • 0 pepper
  • 1 loaf Italian bread
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan
  • 0 pimento & garlic stuffed green olives
  • 0.25 cup feta

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the garlic bulbs, leaving the outer shell on.
  3. Drizzle the garlic bulbs with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Wrap each garlic bulb in foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
  5. Once the garlic is ready and cooled, squeeze the cloves out of their skins into a bowl.
  6. Add softened butter, olive brine, chopped basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper to the bowl with the garlic.
  7. Slice the loaf of Italian bread in half.
  8. Spread the garlic butter mixture over the cut sides of the bread.
  9. Top the bread with freshly grated Parmesan, sliced pimento and garlic stuffed green olives, and crumbled feta.
  10. Bake the bread at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes, until the edges are golden. Keep an eye on it to prevent burning.
