Ingredients
- 2 blocks Boursin cheese
- 3 tbsp heavy cream
- 2.5 tbsp walnuts
- 1 batch softened Boursin mixture
- 0.25 cup Fig jam or preserves
- 4.5 slices cooked bacon
- 2.5 tbsp toasted walnuts
- 1 garnish fresh thyme
Instructions
- Add the Boursin blocks and heavy cream to a food processor. Pulse in short bursts until the mixture becomes soft and spreadable. Avoid over-processing — you don’t want it fully whipped, just loosened.
- Add the chopped walnuts to a dry skillet over medium heat. Cook for 3–4 minutes, stirring often, until they become fragrant and lightly golden. Remove from heat and let cool.
- Spread the softened Boursin mixture into a shallow serving dish.
- Spoon fig jam over the top.
- Sprinkle with chopped bacon and the toasted walnuts.
- Garnish with fresh thyme and serve with crackers, crostini, or bagel crisp.
