Boursin Fig & Bacon Dip

Cook time: 30 minutes

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 2 blocks Boursin cheese
  • 3 tbsp heavy cream
  • 2.5 tbsp walnuts
  • 1 batch softened Boursin mixture
  • 0.25 cup Fig jam or preserves
  • 4.5 slices cooked bacon
  • 2.5 tbsp toasted walnuts
  • 1 garnish fresh thyme

Instructions

  1. Add the Boursin blocks and heavy cream to a food processor. Pulse in short bursts until the mixture becomes soft and spreadable. Avoid over-processing — you don’t want it fully whipped, just loosened.
  2. Add the chopped walnuts to a dry skillet over medium heat. Cook for 3–4 minutes, stirring often, until they become fragrant and lightly golden. Remove from heat and let cool.
  3. Spread the softened Boursin mixture into a shallow serving dish.
  4. Spoon fig jam over the top.
  5. Sprinkle with chopped bacon and the toasted walnuts.
  6. Garnish with fresh thyme and serve with crackers, crostini, or bagel crisp.
