Cranberry Lime Mocktail

This non-alcoholic drink layers cranberry juice and fresh lime juice over ice, then tops the glass with sparkling water for a crisp, lightly sweet fizz. Lime wedges sharpen the aroma and keep the flavor focused and refreshing.

Cranberry Lime Mocktail

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 320 g ice for serving glasses and pitcher
  • 480 ml cranberry juice chilled
  • 60 ml fresh lime juice from 2 to 3 limes, strained if needed
  • 20 ml simple syrup optional, to taste adjustment
  • 480 ml sparkling water chilled
  • 8 pieces lime wedges for garnish

Instructions

  1. Divide the ice between 4 serving glasses, using about 80 g in each glass. If you prefer to chill the pitcher instead, hold back 80 g of the ice for the pitcher and use the rest in the glasses. The glasses are cold and visibly frosted.
  2. In a pitcher, combine the cranberry juice and lime juice. Add the optional simple syrup only if you want a sweeter drink, then stir to blend. The mixture looks uniform and the lime aroma is noticeable.
  3. Add the sparkling water and stir gently just once or twice to keep the fizz. The drink is lightly effervescent without foaming over.
  4. Pour the mocktail over the ice in the glasses and garnish each glass with 2 lime wedges. Each glass is chilled, balanced, and topped with visible lime garnish.
