Butternut Bakery Pumpkin Bread
A deliciously moist pumpkin bread topped with a buttery streusel and a sweet maple glaze, perfect for autumnal gatherings.

Ingredients
- 0.25 cup Butter softened
- 0.5 cup All-purpose flour
- 0.25 cup Brown sugar
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
- 0.5 teaspoon Pumpkin pie spice
- 15 oz Pumpkin puree
- 1 cup Sugar
- 0.5 cup Brown sugar
- 0.5 cup Vegetable oil
- 2 Eggs
- 0.5 teaspoon Vanilla extract add more to taste
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 0.75 teaspoon Pumpkin pie spice
- 0.5 teaspoon Salt
- 1.75 cup All-purpose flour
- 0.5 cup Milk
- 0.5 cup Powdered sugar
- 0.25 cup Maple syrup
Instructions
- Prepare the streusel topping by mashing together the butter, flour, brown sugar, sugar, and pumpkin pie spice in a bowl.
- Refrigerate the streusel topping until needed.
- In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract to the pumpkin mixture and mix until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together baking soda, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, salt, and flour.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in the milk.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Retrieve the streusel from the refrigerator and crumble it over the top of the batter.
- Bake at 325°F for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Check doneness with a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf.
- While the bread is baking, prepare the maple glaze by mixing powdered sugar and maple syrup in a bowl until smooth.
- Once baked, pour the maple glaze over the hot bread. Let it soak in before slicing and serving.
