Spinach Stuffed Shells

Spinach Stuffed Shells

Cook time: 60 minutes

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • 1 box jumbo pasta shells
  • 1.5 lb ground beef
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 2 pieces bell peppers
  • 0.5 piece yellow onion
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 0.5 tbsp adobo
  • 0.5 tbsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Maggi jugo or soy sauce
  • 2 cups pasta sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 block Boursin cheese, garlic & herb
  • 1 block cream cheese
  • 1 cup chopped spinach
  • 0.5 tbsp all purpose seasoning
  • 1 bag shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the jumbo pasta shells as per the instructions on the box.
  2. In a pan, heat the oil and add the ground beef. Cook until browned.
  3. Add the chopped bell peppers, chopped yellow onion, and minced garlic to the pan. Cook until softened.
  4. Season the mixture with adobo, onion powder, black pepper, paprika, and Maggi jugo (or soy sauce).
  5. Add the pasta sauce and sugar to the pan. Stir well.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine the Boursin cheese, cream cheese, chopped spinach, and all purpose seasoning.
  7. Stuff the cooked shells with the cheese and spinach mixture.
  8. Place the stuffed shells in a 9x13 pan.
  9. Top the shells with the meat and sauce mixture.
  10. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.
  11. Bake in a preheated oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
