Ingredients
- 0 Nutella
- 0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 0.5 cup brown sugar, packed
- 0.25 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla paste
- 1.25 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 0.5 tsp baking soda
- 0.25 tsp baking powder
- 0.375 tsp salt
- 0.5 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 0.5 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup Christmas M&M's
- 0 extra M&M's
Instructions
- Scoop tablespoon-size balls of Nutella onto a lined plate or tray and freeze until firm.
- Beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla.
- Add the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and salt, and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the mini semi-sweet chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, and M&M’s.
- Place the dough in the freezer for 20 minutes.
- Scoop the dough and flatten it slightly. Place a frozen Nutella ball in the center and completely wrap the dough around it, making sure the Nutella is fully sealed inside.
- Place the stuffed cookie dough balls in the freezer for another 20 minutes.
- Bake at 375°F for 11–13 minutes, just until the edges are set and lightly golden. The centers should still look soft and slightly underbaked.
- While the cookies are still warm, press extra M&M’s into the tops. Use a cup or cookie cutter to gently swirl around each cookie to round out the edges. Let cool on the baking sheet for about 10 minutes.
