Spicy Hot Crab Dip

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tsp Tony Chachere's seasoning to taste
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.25 tsp cayenne pepper to taste
  • 0.25 cup green onions chopped
  • 1 serrano pepper diced
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 oz shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 oz shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 lb lump crab meat drained
  • 3 cloves garlic grated
  • 0 Tony Chachere's seasoning for topping
  • 0 shredded cheddar cheese extra for topping
  • 0 shredded parmesan cheese extra for topping
  • 0 chives for garnish
  • 0 baguette toasted, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix until smooth.
  3. Stir in Tony Chachere's seasoning, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper to taste.
  4. Add chopped green onions, diced serrano pepper, lemon zest, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.
  5. Stir in grated cheddar cheese, shredded parmesan cheese, lump crab meat, and grated garlic.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish. Top with extra Tony’s, cheddar and parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes, then switch to broiler setting until the top is bubbly and golden.
  8. Garnish with fresh chives and serve with toasted baguette slices.
