Christmas Morning French Toast
The perfect Christmas morning breakfast! Save to make for Christmas morning but also it’s delicious any morning you’re wanting an easy breakfast!

Ingredients
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp molasses
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon
- 0.125 tsp nutmeg
- 0.125 tsp ground cloves
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 loaf brioche bread
Instructions
- Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl (besides the bread).
- Whisk to combine.
- Grease a medium sized oven safe dish and add the bread.
- Pour the French toast mixture over the bread, making sure to coat each piece.
- Optional: Cover with aluminum foil and store in the fridge overnight.
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- If you stored in the fridge overnight, the next morning, carefully spoon any pooled liquid at the bottom of the pan over the top of the bread, redistributing it.
- Also if you stored overnight, set the pan on the counter while the oven preheats.
- Overnight cooking time: 30-35 minutes.
- Immediate cooking time: 20-25 minutes.
- Remove and serve immediately.
