Thai Steak Bowl

Ingredients

  • 0.75 lb chuck steak
  • 0.5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 0.5 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 0.5 tbsp fish sauce
  • 0.5 tbsp oil
  • 0.5 tbsp brown sugar
  • 0.75 lb marinated steak
  • 0.5 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp cilantro
  • 1 tbsp red onion
  • 0.5 tbsp oil
  • 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 servings cooked rice
  • 0.75 lb sliced steak
  • 1 portion prepared sauce

Instructions

  1. Mix steak with soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, oil, and brown sugar. Marinate for at least 20 minutes.
  2. Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Sear the steak for 2–3 minutes per side for medium-rare. Let rest, then slice.
  3. In a bowl, mix fish sauce, lime juice, honey, cilantro, red onion, oil, and red pepper flakes to prepare the sauce.
  4. Add cooked rice to a bowl, top with sliced steak, and drizzle generously with the sauce.
