Bananas Foster French Toast
Bananas Foster French toast with buttery brown sugar bananas and King's Hawaiian rolls.

Ingredients
- 1 pack King's Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sweet cream coffee creamer
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon
- 0 for the skillet Butter
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 0.67 cup dark brown sugar
- 3 tbsp dark rum
- 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 bananas
- 0 for topping chopped pecans
- 0 for garnish powdered sugar
Instructions
- Tear the King's Hawaiian rolls apart and set aside.
- Whisk together the eggs, sweet cream coffee creamer, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
- Roll each piece of bread in the batter. Cook in a buttered skillet over medium heat until golden on all sides. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the unsalted butter and stir in the dark brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the dark rum (optional) and carefully flambé, or let it simmer to cook off the alcohol.
- Stir in the ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and sliced bananas. Cook until the bananas are soft and the sauce is thick.
- Spoon the sauce over the French toast.
- Top with chopped pecans and powdered sugar.
