Cheddar Bay Sausage Balls
Inspired by the classic Southern style sausage balls, this version doesn’t require any boxed mixes and packs all the flavors you love from a cheddar bay biscuit.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground sausage
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 0 cranberry BBQ sauce
- 0 garlic aioli
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, and almond flour.
- Add the baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried parsley to the mixture.
- Mix all the ingredients together until well combined and the mixture is uniform.
- Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the sausage balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the sausage balls are golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
- Serve the sausage balls with cranberry BBQ sauce or garlic aioli for dipping.
