Grinch’S Heart Blondies
These Grinch-inspired blondies have a peppermint flavor and are perfect for the holiday season. You can adjust the flavor by swapping peppermint for almond extract and adding extra white chocolate.

Ingredients
- 1.75 cups all-purpose flour
- 0.75 teaspoons baking powder
- 0.5 teaspoons kosher salt
- 0.75 cups salted butter
- 0.75 cups brown sugar
- 0.75 cups granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 0.5 teaspoons peppermint extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 as needed green food coloring
- 0.25 cups crushed Andes Peppermint Crunch or candy canes
- 0.25 cups white chocolate chips
- 0.25 cups Christmas sprinkles
- 1 as needed heart sprinkles
- 1 as needed extra Christmas sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and line a 9-inch square pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and kosher salt.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened salted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy, about 2 minutes.
- Mix in the vanilla extract, peppermint extract, and eggs one at a time until well combined.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
- Tint the batter with green food coloring until you achieve the desired Grinchy shade.
- Fold in the crushed Andes Peppermint Crunch or candy canes, white chocolate chips, and Christmas sprinkles.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan. Top with heart sprinkles and extra Christmas sprinkles.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 26–28 minutes, until the edges are golden and the center looks set.
- Cool completely in the pan, then chill for 1 hour for fudgier bars. Slice into squares and serve at room temperature.
