Hot Chocolate Cookies

These gooey, chocolatey cookies bring the warm essence of hot chocolate into a delightful baked treat topped with marshmallows and luscious chocolate ganache.

Ingredients

• 0 parchment paper
• 1.5 cups mini marshmallows
• 2.5 oz semi-sweet chocolate
• 0.25 cups heavy whipping cream
• 0.25 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Prepare the cookie dough according to the double chocolate cookie recipe from @sallysbakeblog.
3. Place tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10-12 minutes.
4. Immediately place mini marshmallows on top of each cookie once they are out of the oven.
5. Prepare the chocolate ganache by combining semi-sweet chocolate and heavy whipping cream in a microwave-proof bowl. Heat for 30-45 seconds.
6. Add vanilla extract to the ganache and stir well.
7. Drizzle the ganache over the warm cookies and let it set.
