Chilli Beef Noodles
A spicy and hearty dish of chilli beef noodles with a mixture of Asian spices and flavours, designed to satisfy your spicy cravings.

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon dark soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame seed oil
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 1 whole lime juice Juice of 1 lime
- 1 teaspoon chilli oil Optional for extra spice
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 8.82 ounces beef mince Approximately 250 grams
- 3 cloves garlic cloves minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger Heaped teaspoon, grated
- 1 teaspoon chopped chilli
- 1 teaspoon Chinese five spice
- 400 grams noodles of choice
- 0 prepared sauce from Step 1
- 0 cooked beef from Step 2
- 0 spring onions sliced
- 0 sesame seeds
- 0 chilli oil to taste
Instructions
- Mix all the sauce ingredients: 1 tablespoon light soy sauce, 2 tablespoons dark soy sauce, 1 teaspoon sesame seed oil, 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar, juice of 1 lime, and 1 teaspoon chilli oil, in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add 250 grams of beef mince. Cook, breaking it up with a spoon until browned.
- Add 3 minced garlic cloves, roughly heaped 1 teaspoon of grated ginger, 1 teaspoon chopped chilli, and 1 teaspoon Chinese five spice to the beef. Stir well and continue to cook until fragrant.
- Cook noodles according to the packet instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Return noodles to the same pan used for cooking beef. Pour over the prepared sauce and mix well. Add cooked beef back to the pan and combine thoroughly over low heat.
- Serve noodles and beef into bowls. Top with sliced spring onions, sesame seeds, and additional chilli oil if desired.
