Garlic Pulled Beef Pasta
A delicious slow-cooked garlic pulled beef pasta, perfect for a weekend meal.

Ingredients
- 1 drizzle olive oil
- 500 g casserole or brisket beef
- 500 g casserole or brisket beef
- 1 finely diced onion
- 3 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tin chopped tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato puree
- 1 unit red wine stock pot
- 1 unit beef oxo cube
- 250 g water
- 2 tsp basil
- 2 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 100 ml single cream
- 50 g grated parmesan
- 1 bunch fresh basil
- 300 g pasta
- 1 ladle pasta water
- 300 g pasta
- 1 serving garlic bread
- 1 optional garnish parmesan
- 1 optional garnish fresh basil
Instructions
- Add a drizzle of olive oil to a pan and brown off the beef for a few minutes on high heat. This step is optional if you are short on time.
- To the slow cooker, add the beef, finely diced onion, minced garlic, chopped tomatoes, tomato puree, red wine stock pot, beef oxo cube, water, basil, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Stir well then cook on low for 6 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the beef, add in the single cream, grated parmesan, and finely chopped fresh basil. Stir well and cook for another 30 minutes.
- While the beef is cooking, place the pasta on to boil as per the packet instructions.
- Once the pasta is cooked, add a ladle of pasta water and the pasta into the sauce. Stir well until all of the pasta is fully coated.
- Serve with garlic bread and an optional garnish of parmesan and fresh basil.
