Hawaiian Mac Salad
A classic Hawaiian macaroni salad with a creamy dressing and a hint of sweetness.

Ingredients
- 1 lb elbow macaroni
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 shredded carrots
- 1 shredded small sweet onion
- 2 chopped green onion

- 2 cups mayo
- 0.5 cup milk

Instructions
- Cook 1 lb of elbow macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- While the macaroni is still hot, add 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and toss to coat. Let it cool to room temperature.
- Shred 2 carrots and 1 small sweet onion. Chop 2 green onions finely.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooled macaroni, shredded carrots, shredded onion, and chopped green onions.
- In a separate bowl, mix 2 cups of mayo and 1/2 cup of milk until smooth.
- Pour the mayo mixture over the macaroni mixture and stir until everything is well coated.
- Season the salad with salt, pepper, and sugar to taste. Keep adding until the desired flavor is achieved.
- Cover the salad and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
- Before serving, give the salad a good stir and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve chilled and enjoy your Hawaiian Mac Salad.
