Apple Pie Banana Pudding
Apple pie pudding for the holidays can’t lose in the household!

Ingredients
- 5 pieces apples
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1.5 teaspoons cinnamon
- 0.5 lemon lemon juice
- 5 pieces apples
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 boxes vanilla instant pudding
- 9 cups cold milk
- 0.5 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 spoonfuls apple juice
- 1.5 cups whipped topping
- 2 packs Chessman cookies
- 1 to taste crushed vanilla wafers
- 1 to taste caramel drizzle
Instructions
- Peel and slice 5–8 apples, preferably Granny Smith or Honeycrisp.
- In a large pan, melt 2 sticks of butter over medium heat.
- Add 1 cup of brown sugar and 1½ teaspoons of cinnamon to the melted butter and stir until combined.
- Squeeze the juice of ½ lemon into the mixture and stir.
- Add the sliced apples to the pan and cook until they are tender.
- In a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water, then add to the apple mixture to thicken.
- Prepare 2–3 boxes of vanilla instant pudding with 9 cups of cold milk as per package instructions.
- Mix ½ teaspoon of cinnamon and 2–3 spoonfuls of apple juice from the cooked apples into the pudding.
- Fold 1½ cups of whipped topping into the pudding mixture.
- In a serving dish, layer 2–3 packs of Chessman cookies, followed by a layer of the apple mixture, then the pudding mixture. Repeat layers as desired.
- Top with crushed vanilla wafers and drizzle with caramel.
