Salmon Tacos with Avocado Crema

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1.5 pounds salmon
- 0 parchment paper
- 2 avocado ripe
- 0.5 cup sour cream
- 1 jalapeño finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 8 corn or flour tortillas
- 0.5 cup pickled red onion
- 1 cup shredded green cabbage
- 0.25 cup cilantro finely chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix together brown sugar, smoked paprika, and garlic powder in a small bowl.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over the salmon.
- Place the salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes until fully cooked.
- Mash avocado with sour cream and finely chopped jalapeño, adding lime juice to the mixture for flavor.
- Warm the tortillas in a skillet over medium heat or directly over a gas flame for 20-30 seconds.
- Assemble the tacos by placing salmon chunks on the tortillas, topping them with avocado crema, pickled red onion, shredded cabbage, and cilantro.
