Butter Garlic Steak Bites and Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
- 1 pound ribeye steak
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon white wine optional
- 2 pounds potatoes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 0.5 cup heavy cream
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0 parsley chopped, optional
Instructions
- Cut the ribeye steak into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and black pepper.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the steak pieces to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove the steak pieces and set aside. Deglaze the pan with a tablespoon of white wine, if desired.
- In a separate pot, boil peeled and chopped potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and mash with butter, heavy cream, and a pinch of salt until smooth and creamy.
- Serve the steak bites on a platter with the mashed potatoes on the side. Garnish with parsley if desired.
