Crunchy Miso Salmon Bites
These miso salmon bites are cooked under the broiler in 8 minutes, resulting in a crunchy outside and a melt-in-your-mouth texture. Serve with cooked rice and chives for a quick and delicious dinner.

Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs salmon
- 0.33 cup low sodium soy sauce or tamari
- 3 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 2 tbsp white miso
- 0.25 cup honey
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 serving jasmine rice
- 1 tbsp chives
Instructions
- Turn broiler on high.
- Cut salmon into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large bowl.
- In another small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, miso, honey, garlic powder, and salt until smooth.
- Pour 3/4 of the sauce over the salmon, reserving the rest.
- Coat the salmon well with the sauce, cover, and let sit for 5 minutes.
- In an even layer, spread the salmon onto a baking sheet, ensuring no liquid remains in the bowl.
- Place the salmon under the broiler for 7-8 minutes until crunchy on top. If you prefer it cooked through, broil for 9 minutes.
- Remove from oven.
- Serve the salmon over cooked jasmine rice and chopped chives.
- Drizzle the remaining sauce on top and enjoy!
