Earl Grey Orange Loaf

Ingredients
- 1 whole orange zest
- 200 g sugar
- 150 g butter
- 50 g olive oil
- 3 whole eggs
- 100 g sour cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 medium-sized orange orange juice
- 2 tbsp earl grey tea
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 0.25 tsp baking soda
- 0.5 tsp baking powder
- 150 g chocolate chips
Instructions
- Zest the orange and rub it with the sugar until fragrant and well combined.
- Add the butter to the orange-sugar mixture and whip until fluffy.
- Add the olive oil and continue whipping until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the eggs, sour cream, vanilla extract, orange juice, and ground earl grey tea until well combined.
- Gently fold in the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and baking powder until just combined. Don’t overmix.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing and serving.
