Broccoli Cheddar Soup Pasta
A delightful twist on the classic broccoli cheddar soup by incorporating pasta.

Ingredients
- 0.5 lb bacon
- 1 lb chicken breast
- 1 to 2, shredded carrots
- 1 chopped broccoli crown
- 12 to 24 oz evaporated milk
- 0.5 to 1 cup cheddar cheese
- 1 to 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 to 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 to 2 tsp black pepper
- 1 to 2 tsp salt
- 1 to 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 to 2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 lb chicken breast
- 0.5 lb bacon
- 1 package pasta
- 1 to garnish parsley or chives
Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a large pot over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the pot.
- In the same pot, add the chicken breast and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Add the shredded carrots and chopped broccoli to the pot. Sauté until the vegetables are tender.
- Pour in the evaporated milk or heavy cream. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
- Add the cheddar cheese and stir until melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Season the mixture with garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, dried oregano, and crushed red pepper flakes. Stir to combine.
- Chop the cooked chicken and bacon into bite-sized pieces and add them back into the pot.
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and add to the soup mixture.
- Stir everything together until well combined and heated through.
- Serve the soup pasta garnished with parsley or chives.
