Banana Chocolate Chip Cake

Ingredients
- 3 pieces ripe bananas
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 0.5 cup melted butter
- 2 pieces large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mash 3 ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add 1 cup of granulated sugar and 1/2 cup of melted butter to the mashed bananas. Mix until well combined.
- Stir in 2 large eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and mix until incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
