Loaded Hashbrowns - Carne Asada Edition

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces thin steaks
  • 0.5 teaspoon chili powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 tablespoons garlic
  • 0.25 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 small orange
  • 1 small lime
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1 to taste salt
  • 1 to taste pepper
  • 4 pieces marinated steaks
  • 8 pieces hashbrown patties
  • 1 prepared carne asada
  • 1 to taste shredded cheese
  • 1 to taste guacamole
  • 1 to taste crema Mexicana
  • 1 to taste poblano sauce
  • 1 to taste diced onions
  • 1 to taste chopped cilantro
  • 1 to taste queso fresco
  • 1 to taste jalapeño slices
  • 1 to taste hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Marinate steaks with chili powder, cumin, garlic, soy sauce, a squeeze of orange, a squeeze of lime, avocado oil, and salt and pepper in a bowl. Place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Cook steak on a grill or cast iron for 3 minutes on each side. Let the meat rest for 5 minutes and then slice into small pieces.
  3. Air fry hashbrown patties at 400°F for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. Top hashbrowns with carne asada and shredded cheese. Air fry an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Load hashbrowns with guacamole, drizzle of crema Mexicana, poblano sauce, onions, cilantro, queso fresco, jalapeño slices, and hot sauce.
